LOLC Participates in Blood Donation Campaign: "Together to Save Lives"
Phnom Penh, July 16, 2024: LOLC Cambodia , one of the leading
deposit-taking microfinance institutions in the Kingdom of Cambodia,
participated in a blood donation campaign organized by the National Bank
of Cambodia (NBC), the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), the
Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC), and the Banking
Association of Cambodia (ABC) under the theme "Together to Save Lives."
The event took place at the headquarters of the Union of Youth
Federations of Cambodia, located in the Khemarany Building on Fine Arts
Street, Sangkat Prek Leap, Khan Chroy Changva, Phnom Penh. The primary
objective of this campaign was to donate blood to save the lives of
patients in critical need and to raise public awareness about the
importance of voluntary blood donation.
Through this initiative, LOLC encourages everyone to participate in
blood donation to help save lives, particularly those in urgent need, as
every pack of donated blood can save up to three lives.
LOLC's participation demonstrates our unwavering commitment to social
responsibility and dedication to supporting life-saving efforts for
patients requiring emergency surgery or medical services. LOLC hopes
that this contribution will not only save lives but also set an
exemplary standard for humanitarian action, fostering a spirit of
solidarity and positively impacting society as a whole.
